Be it the very latest information or dialogue with experts, Cleanzone's array of events and top themes offers you the opportunity to broaden and deepen your cleanroom expertise.
Cleanzone Conference: Two days of pure knowledge transfer

The Cleanzone Conference's multifaceted lecture programme focuses on current and future-oriented topics and reflects the interdisciplinary cleanroom industry. A number of experts will share their knowledge on the most current topics that move the industry. The conference is included in the admission price for all trade fair visitors.

Cleanzone Award

Together with our partner, the Wiley-Verlag, publisher of the trade journal ReinRaum-Technik, we present the Cleanzone Award, which is renowned in the industry, at every Cleanzone.
Cleanzone Award is aimed at companies, organisations, scientific institutions and individual persons. It is looking for groundbreaking and efficiency. These are then presented during Cleanzone. The best innovation will be chosen by visitors to the trade fair.
And the winner 2022 is:

reinraummieten: Reinraum mieten
The project provides temporary, individually configurable cleanrooms.

Top Themes Cleanzone
Soon you will find the top themes of Cleanzone 2024 here. These were the focus themes of the last Cleanzone 2022.
Sustainability: energy-efficient and minimal
Due to climate change and increased energy prices, energy efficiency and sustainability are at the top of the agenda in the cleanroom industry. The industry's willingness to invest in energy-efficient measures has increased significantly. The operation of cleanrooms, especially air conditioning and ventilation technology, is energy-intensive. On the one hand, the trend is therefore towards optimising energy consumption, for example through highly efficient filter fan units and sensor-based solutions coupled with intelligent and digital control. On the other hand, companies are striving to reduce the cleanroom area to the really critical areas. Mini-environments or isolators are therefore very popular. Find out more about the corresponding technologies at Cleanzone.
Supply chains: secure, clean and sustainable

How can the security of supply of companies producing in the cleanroom be ensured even in turbulent times? How can the supply chain be secured, especially with regard to the critical infrastructure, which includes the healthcare sector but also parts of the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries? Companies that produce in cleanrooms must ensure that the supply industry also complies with the high quality requirements. However, this applies not only to cleanliness but also to sustainability. In the course of the European Green Deal, many companies have set their own sustainability goals and demand that their suppliers also implement them.
Automation: smart and digital

Automating, digitising, robotising are in full swing in the pharmaceutical industry and microtechnology to optimise processes and minimise the risk of contamination by humans in the cleanroom. One trend, for example, is the use of AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicles) solutions. In production, sensor-based techniques are used to collect data and control the machines accordingly. How can this data be intelligently networked and generate new business models? The connection of IT and OT is a basic prerequisite for the "Data Driven Enterprise" - but only if IT security is guaranteed. With the help of "Predictive Quality" and "Predictive Maintenance", possible rejects or production downtime can be detected in advance thanks to intelligent image recognition and processing, and thus prevented.
