KEL-ER CR split cable entry frames for the use in cleanrooms / IP66 / UL Type 12/4X

Split cable entry system for routing and sealing cables with connectors, providing an IP66 / UL Type 12/4X* rating and strain relief for cable diameters from 1 to 16 mm (single-hole grommets KT CR 1 - 15) and 16 to 35 mm (single-hole grommets KT CR 16 - 34).

The cable entry system is easy to install. Cable grommets are placed into compartments and are securely fixed to the frame during assembly.

The KEL-ER CR frames match exactly the cut-out dimensions for 10-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors. Either a cut-out of 36 mm or 46 mm in height can be chosen depending on the cables being routed. The KEL-ER-B CR frame matches the cut-out dimensions of 46 × 46 mm measuring instruments.

The single-row versions KEL-ER-E CR are particularly suited for flat connectors. The small frames are ideal for applications with limited space.

A flat rubber gasket is included in the shipment.

KT CR | cable grommets for the use in cleanrooms, 1 - 35 mm / IP66 / IP68 / UL Type 12/4X*

Cable grommets KT CR small are used with the following cleanroom cable entry components:

KEL-U CR cable entry frames

In combination with KEL-ER CR cable entry frames the KT CR single-hole grommets enable a sealing of the cables with up to IP66 / IP68 and UL Type 4X*.

The model range KT CR small is designed for cable diameters from 1 to 17 mm. Cable grommets KT CR large accept a wide range of cable diameters from 16 to 35 mm.

When installing the small grommets in multiple rows, the flat sides should be facing each other. This allows the flat sides to match up and provide a secure seal.

The products with article ending .600 are tested and certified for particle emission for cleanroom class 1 according to ISO 14644-1. The materials used for these products have been tested and certified for outgassing according to VOC/SVOC (ISO 14644-8; ISO 16000-6,-9,-11,-25, VDI 2083 sheet 17).

KEL-DPZ-HD CR hygienic multi-membrane cable entry plates, round for the use in cleanrooms, M32 - M63 / IP66 / IP68, FDA compliant

The new cable entry plates KEL-DPZ-HD CR with metric thread from M32 to M63 have been developed for installation in food processing and packaging machines as well as for cleanroom applications.

During the development according to the Hygienic Design guidelines, care was taken to ensure that the visible side of the cable entry plate are free of dirt-collecting recesses. The surface was kept very smooth. The outer contour has a radius of 6 mm instead of the required 3 mm. In addition, the KEL-DPZ-HD CR uses an FDA-compliant elastomer in accordance with food approval 1935/2004/EG and (EU) 10/2011. The signal colour blue ensures a clear visual colour recognition.

The cable entry plates are designed to route several cables and hoses with a diameter range of 3.2 mm to 22.2 mm and seal them acc. to IP65/66/67/68. A significant advantage over cable glands is the significantly higher cable density and the flexibility of the cable diameter range. The fixation is very simple with the locknut.

KEL-DPZ CR multi-membrane cable entry plates for the use in cleanrooms / up to IP66 / UL Type 12

KEL-DPZ CR cable entry plates are designed to route and seal a large number cables without connectors, hoses or fibre optics (from 1.5 mm to 22 mm in diameter) in limited space.

The KEL-DPZ CR products are a cost and time saving alternative to traditional cable glands.

The assembly of the KEL-DPZ CR with cables or pneumatic hoses can be done quick and easy. Simply make a small hole in the thin membrane, push the cables through. The KEL-DPZ CR provides strain relief and protection up to IP66 / UL type 12.

The KEL-DPZ CR matches exactly the cut-out dimensions of 6-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors. The size KEL-DPZ-B CR fits on cut-outs 46 × 46 mm. The very compact size KEL-DPZ-E CR is designed for routing cables in very small space. Through a cut-out of only 18 × 112 mm, up to 21 cables can be easily routed and sealed.

Especially for Rittal KL / KX terminal boxes the size KEL-DPZ-KX/KL CR (IP65) was created. It was designed for routing up to 72 cables through the pre-cut standard cut-out. The self-tapping screws required for assembly are included in the scope of delivery.

KT CR multi | KT CR special | Multi-hole / special cable grommets for the use in cleanrooms, 1 - 8 mm / IP54 / UL Type 12

Cable grommets KT CR multi are used with the following cleanroom cable entry components:

KEL-U CR cable entry frames

KT CR multi-hole and special grommets enable a sealing of the cables with IP54 and UL Type 12.

When using double or quadruple grommets the cable density of cleanroom cable entry frames can be greatly increased. The multi-hole model range KT CR small is designed for cable diameters from 1 to 8 mm. ATG CR adapter grommets provide the possibility to hold a small KT CR grommet to reduce the clamping range down to 1 mm.

When installing the small grommets in multiple rows, the flat sides should be facing each other. This allows the flat sides to match up and provide a secure seal.
