The HERO21 was developed in academic collaboration with Ruhr University Bochum and combines the advantages of mobile robotics with UV-C technology. This enables a fast, reproducible, and documentable disinfection process. Additionally, the disinfection scope is expanded as it includes not only objects in the room but also walls, floors, ceilings, and the room air, which leads to an increase in disinfection quality. The device is intuitively controlled via an app on a tablet and features a multi-level safety system that protects the user from UV-C radiation. UV-C disinfection with the HERO21 can be easily integrated into existing processes without significant modifications, thereby supporting and protecting personnel in disinfecting sensitive environments. The HERO21 is used in the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, medical technology production, laboratories, and hospitals in Germany, Switzerland, and South Africa.
