The sterile GEM-Care cytostatic work mat is a highly absorbent, low-lint mat that was specially developed for the production of cytostatics. It consists of a 3-layer polyethylene fiber blend. The top layer is a PE film with openings to distribute the liquid evenly, the middle layer is a latex-free, airlaid paper for absorption and the bottom layer is a non-slip PE film that prevents the liquid from penetrating the surface and keeps the mat in place.
